The odyssey of aquatic pleasures

Mostly navigable, Le Monteynard is a paradise for sports and water activities like fishing, canoeing, windsurfing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, speedboat racing...

The lake is authorized in the navigation only between level 468m and 490m.

In its central part, a regular thermal wind blows. That is why it is well known as a great spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing. This ballet of multicolor sails assures a permanent animation on the site for the families prefering taking sun and playing on the banks.

On Treffort or Mayres-Savel side, a huge panel of activities is offered to tourists: playgrounds for children, picnic areas with public barbecues, secure paddling pool and water slide for the pleasure of the youngest (treffort pier, 12 years old maximum).

To discover the hidden treasures of the lake, nothing better than a cruise on the La Mira boat. You will be able to go in the wild gorges, inaccessible by the banks.

IMPORTANT: the bathing is forbidden on all of the lake of Monteynard-Avignonet.
